Woodfold only sells to residential elevator original equipment manufacturers and service providers. We do not sell to the general public.
Woodfold’s residential elevator doors satisfy the strength and deflection requirements of ASME A17.1-2022/CSA B44:22 and the Florida Building Code.
We offer three models:
Series 1600 Standard 4.25″ panel. Offset wheels.
Series 1200 Narrow 3.25″ panel to better meet the 4″ ball rule. Offset wheels.
Series 1400 Standard 4.25″ panel. Center wheels. Retrofit only for ASME A17.3.
Woodfold maintains a wide range of designer finishes to suit every taste. Please note some options may not be available through your specific OEM, dealer or installation company.
Each elevator door is hand assembled and tested for operation and quality in our facility in Oregon. Our online configurator is available for customer convenience but is currently only configured for the 1600 series. The configurator can be used for the 1200 series but add a note in the additional information section. Please contact Customer Service to create login credentials.
Laboratory Strength and Deflection Test Reports are available upon request. Acrylic vision panels meet the ANSI Z97.1 requirements (Safety Glazing Materials Used In Buildings — Safety Performance Specifications and Methods of Test) for plastic glazing (Class A).Woodfold owns design and utility patents for our unique hinge system (U.S. Patent D792,190 and U.S. Patent 9,879,471).
